I'm Back - Must Try Harder

It's time to get back to blogland, been neglecting it forever. Thought I'd start with a few cards from craftsuprint and designer Amanda Mcgee. Her latest trend is long DL word cards which are fab. This first one is a pretty lilacy pink one with angels and poinsettias. I added a metal charm to the letter A, a bargain pack of 6 for £1 from the Works.
Next another lovely pastel card with snowmen decorating the word Noel. Added flower cup sequins to this one.
A lovely card for children, who believe that snowmen are real, (well aren't they?) Amanda named it "I'm sure I saw him move".

This is a more grown up card. Very sophisticated on black mirri card, and I've embellished the "o" with a pearl topped pin and organza ribbon.

This is absolutely gorgeous in shades of purple, Santa flies over a snowy landscape. Lots of glitter on this one including the purple glitter background card, part of a pack I bought from good old Woolies way back when.

Finally another for the children. Little elves pop out of parcels in very bright colours. This time I embellished with punched funky foam snowflakes and some ribbon knots.

Pretty in Pink Creative Cottage Challenge 14

This week's challenge at The Creative Cottage is Going Pink, so thought this would fit the bill.
A gorgeous summer flower wreath in a pyramid style decoupage. Would make a lovely wedding card, but on this occasion it is an Anniversry card made to order.

Anniversary Cards

A few of the Anniversary cards I've made recently.

First a card made from a sheet of decoupage from Craft Creations, with paper flowers and crystal sprays added. I first made this as Mum's Mother's Day card last year.
Another decoupage design from Craft Creations is this one with 2 mice drinking Champagne.
The others are from my favourite place craftsuprint.

A beautiful floral image in blue, lemon and cream.

Pretty design with swans and pink roses.

A gorgeous vintage image in shades of gold, silver and cream.
And a doyley effect pyramage in purple and yellow.

More Craftsuprint Cards

Have been making more craftsuprint cards, this time from the lovely designer Janet Briggs. This first one is an easel card with a little footballer.  Was delighted to see that Janet chose this as her card of the week on her gallery.
Next is a little card featuring a duck in a pretty garden. Janet has used artwork from nitwitcollections,
another of my favourite download sites. Caption on this card
"Does my bum look big in this?"

Finally another easel card with these very pretty bunnies, absolutely love the colours on this design.

All in shades of coffee, peach and plum. I added some gold to accent.

Cornish Wedding

Had an interesting request for a Cornish wedding card. After much pondering this is what I came up with.
First an A5 card with some coastal photos as the background and a beautiful topper bought from gingersnapz at ebay.Finished off with some Cornish tartan ribbon.
Secondly this one, a picture of a tin mine with a bride in the foreground. Also finished with some tartan ribbon. The bride was a download purchased from craftsuprint.
