Today at last there seems to be a thaw in the air, though snow is forecast again later on. Hopefully they've got it wrong. This is the front garden at the end of last week. About 3" of snow, and solid with ice.
And this is the view of the drive.

January Order

My next project was a card for a 2nd birthday, for a little boy who likes trains.
Luckily QVC had a TSV straight after Christmas which fitted the brief to a tee.
Another Patchwork Pals kit which included train scenes.
Firstly this card is A4 with a train pulling into a station with a carriage full of children and their toys.
The carriage opens up to look inside.

Next a little train waiting at the station.

Finally,a train steaming through a bridge, which also has a backside view.

New Year Cards

Straight after Christmas I had an order for 10 new year cards, another new venture. The brief was fireworks, snowmen, and snow. Had to search for fireworks and found these on craftsuprint.

The little snowman is a freebie image from cuddlybuddly, coloured with my new promarkers.

The skating snowmen also from cuddlybuddly, 2 Dufex images and another download from craftsuprint.

Big Cards for Ladies

At last here's the big cards I made for ladies. Firstly a beatiful card from Kanban in black, silver and fuschia.

This next one I am not so keen on. I covered the card with gold linen, printed "merry christmas" from Cute Companions and added a Forever Friends image.

Finally I used some gorgeous downloads fron nitwit collections. A background of snowflakes and a little bear peeping through a frame.
