Party time

Yesterday was Mum's 70th birthday, hard to believe. It was my turn to look after Molly, so after picking her up from pre-school we went to the park to play and picnic with Kirsten and Olivia. They had a wonderful time.

Today we've all been over to Mum's for a birthday lunch, again the girls have had a great time playing and showing off. They start dance classes later.

This afternoon I decided to have a go at a card for the Get Funky challenge- make a card suitable for a boy. So this is what I came up with. The background is from Funky Hand freebie download, then I decoupaged a little bear from Craftsuprint, and added a ribbon with some shell beads stitched on to it. Think it should be ok for a young boy.

  7. This is so sweet! Do like the little shells! I try and collect real ones when we go to Southport but I always forget to take a little bag as I'm not over impressed about the sand in my pockets! Thanks for entering the Get Funky! Challenge – hope you can join us again next month! Get Funky!
